Paul is a partner in the Financial Markets Litigation group, specialising in complex financial disputes and investigations, with a particular focus on contentious asset management work. Paul also provides specialist defamation advice.
Paul chairs the London Asset Management Litigation team, and is a member of the firm’s Crime, Fraud and Investigations group.

- completing a six-month secondment to an international asset management firm in 2014, acting as the group’s senior litigation counsel
- advising a global investment bank on a cross-border regulatory investigation relating to its asset management division
- advising a hedge fund in relation to a high-profile partnership dispute
- acting on behalf of numerous asset managers and other financial institutions in relation to potential defamation claims.
Paul qualified into the commercial litigation team of another UK firm in 2005, then practised in New Zealand between 2006 and 2011. Paul joined Simmons & Simmons in September 2011.
