Legal professional privilege (LPP) in tax matters
Explore how legal privilege applies to tax investigations in Europe
Our London office is the firm’s international headquarters and our largest office. It is home to many of the Simmons & Simmons leadership team, including our senior and managing partner.
From London, we advise global players across our five key sectors – financial institutions, asset management and investment funds, TMT, healthcare and life sciences, and energy, natural resources, infrastructure and construction – on all aspects of law, from banking and financing, mergers and acquisitions, competition and regulatory, to IP, employment law and dispute resolution.
We focus on clients with an international footprint or ambition, working daily with colleagues in our network of offices to help our clients keep ahead of the competition and deliver against their business objectives.
Our lawyers play an active role in shaping the future of UK and global regulation and business practices. Our role as the only law firm invited to join the Bank of England’s FinTech community is testament to this.
Our London office has a long history of providing pro bono advice to initiatives such as The Big Issue Foundation, which provides support to homeless people across the UK. It’s also the home of our UK Young Talent Programme which offers work opportunities to secondary school students.
If you have any questions, contact a member of the London team for assistance:
