Our experience includes:

  • advising a renewable energy developer on projects on the cusp of the Development Consent Order regime including appropriate consenting strategies
  • advising on the consenting, procurement, development, financing and investment in 9 Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects including offshore wind farms
  • advising a joint venture partner on an investment in the former Olympic athletes’ village in Stratford to provide several thousand residential units including Private Rented Sector units
  • acquiring a major mixed use development near Oxford Street in London which was the single largest real estate transaction by value following the Brexit referendum
  • advising a developer on the sale of 5 of the largest solar farms in the UK including in relation to complex consenting issues
  • negotiating a complex Section 106 agreement for a Tall Building in the City of London
  • planning aspects of the refinancing of the O2 Arena
  • consenting advice relating to the first solar farm to progress through the Developments of National Significance regime
  • structuring of a project to redevelop redundant landfill sites in the UK
  • advising investors on contaminated land liability on the acquisition of office and light industrial buildings
  • advising on the planning and environmental permitting aspects of the conversion of a coal fired power station to an end of waste fuel.
