Named Stonewall Top Global Employer

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has been ranked as one of the twelve best performing employers in Stonewall’s Top Global Employer 2017. This is the second year running that the firm has received this accreditation.
Stonewall is a charity that works to achieve equality and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. This year, 12 organisations have been recognised as Stonewall Top Global Employers. Simmons & Simmons is also a member of Stonewall’s Diversity Champions programme and a Star Performer in the UK Workplace Equality Index.
The firm continues to lead within the legal sector and earlier this year maintained its Stonewall Star Performer ranking, the highest accolade offered in Stonewall’s UK Workplace Equality Index.
The highlights for 2017 include:

- Increased visibility of the firm’s international Straight Allies network and on-going collaboration with client organisations across the offices.
- Continued partnership with Out Leadership and Hong Kong Gay and Lesbian Attorneys (HKGALA) Network.
- Embedding a CR supplier programme across the Asia offices, specifically embedding LGBT equality and awareness across procurement and supply chain processes.
