Firm Strengthens its Offering in Middle East with Partner Promotion

International law firm Simmons & Simmons has today announced the promotion to the Partnership of Raza Rizvi, who heads up the TMT practice in the Middle East.
The news comes amidst the announcement that this year the firm has promoted twelve of its lawyers to its Partnership*.
Raza Rizvi leads the firm’s ICT and Intellectual Property team across the Middle East. Raza qualified and practised in London, and has been based in the Middle East for the past 10 years providing specialist commercial, regulatory and transactional advice to clients in the TMT and Life Sciences sectors. He advises businesses that are concerned with technology, data and IP (including FinTech) across the Middle East and Africa. Raza joined Simmons & Simmons in 2007 and has been on several senior-level client secondments. His promotion to Partnership reinforces the firm’s commitment to the TMT sector and to having a dedicated partner led capability in the Middle East.
