Anna is a supervising associate in the Financial Markets group in Hong Kong, where she advises on a broad range of structured finance and derivatives transactions across a number of product types, including structured credit, equity and FX-linked transactions for both retail and institutional investors. Anna has a broad range of experience in relation to both on and off balance sheet structured notes programmes, having worked on the establishment and update of a number of such programmes as well as issuances under such programmes. Anna worked on the establishment of the standard repackaging documentation platform, which is used by a number of major international investment banks.
Anna joined Simmons & Simmons as a trainee in 2010 and qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales into the Capital Markets group in London in 2012. In 2012, Anna was seconded to the credit structuring fixed income desk of a major investment bank where she worked on a variety of transactions with a focus on credit derivatives and credit linked note issuances. In 2014, Anna was again seconded for six months to the global rates and markets legal team of another investment bank advising on a range of transactions including CLOs and repackagings. Anna transferred to the Financial Markets team in Hong Kong in June 2017.
