Claudia is a lawyer in our Munich office. She specialises in intellectual property law, with particular emphasis on patent law.

Claudia studied law at the University of Passau, the University Complutense de Madrid and the Ludwig-Maximillians-University Munich. After completing her legal training in Munich, she worked as Academic Research Associate at the Technical University of Munich and started working on her doctoral thesis on standard-essential patents and FRAND-commitments. Claudia holds a master's degree in European and International Business Law (LL,M.eur) and a master's degree in Intellectual Property Law and Policy (LL.M.) from the University of Washington. She was admitted to the German bar in 2016. Before joining Simmons & Simmons in 2017, she worked at another international law firm.
Claudia is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) member of the Advisory Board of the Munich IP Dispute Resolution Forum.
