Dr Felix Biedermann
Felix specialises in advising on debt capital markets and banking regulatory matters.
With regard to debt capital markets Felix has long-standing experience in advising issuers, financial institutions, asset managers and other businesses operating in the financial services sector. His focus is on advising with regard to the establishment and servicing of debt issuance programs, standalone bond issuances, liability management transactions as well as hybrid capital issuances.
Besides debt capital markets Felix advises on a broad range of complex banking regulatory issues including the establishment of EU branches in Germany and also on M&A in the banking sector.

Felix studied law at Freiburg University and had already been working in the capital markets team of an international law firm during his legal traineeship. Besides his work he earned his doctorate as well as the Primary Market Certificate of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA).
Before joining Simmons & Simmons in summer 2016, he had been with another international law firm in their Frankfurt office for more than eight years. During a secondment he had been working for a leading German bank.
