Ottavio has wide-ranging expertise in employment issues, both contentious and non-contentious.
Ottavio is a managing associate in our Employment group in the Milan office. He advises Italian and international clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. He advises on employment law aspects of mergers & acquisitions, global and domestic corporate restructurings, outsourcings and agency contracts. Ottavio advises clients on redundancy exercises and collective dismissals, including mandatory union consultation and handling sensitive negotiated exits of senior management.
Ottavio assists clients with all their contractual documentation, from identifying the best contractual arrangement and the relevant risks, through to drafting and negotiating contracts, including bonus wording and restrictive covenants.
He assists clients with claims (unfair dismissal, breach of contract, confidentiality) both before the courts and with out-of-court settlements. In addition, Ottavio handles more day to day matters such as advising on handbooks and policies, disciplinary and performance issues.
